halloween #fail

every year our church puts on a super fun alternative to halloween called "extreme blast". they rent bunches of huge inflatables and have loads of carnival games where the kids can rack up as much candy as they can carry. 

this is our second year going. last year pais was a cutie little fairy but she was really too small to enjoy any of the festivities.

so this year, this year i thought it would be just grand. paisley would have the time of her life and jump in the inflatables until she could jump no more . . . 

boy was i wrong. 

and . . . 

oh well. i guess we always have next year to look forward to.

maybe she was so upset because she was forced into wearing a greenbay packers jersey? i think she's more of a steelers girl like her mommy! {wink}

party shop sweetness

shop sweet lulu is my new party obsession. it's the most adorable party shop i've seen and they have everything you could possibly need to design a spectacular event. 

i discovered them while planning paisley's second birthday party this year and purchased their stripey straws which i absolutely loved. this shop is an explosion of party good dreams come true and you must must must check it out.

giant balloons

recently my dear friend hollie, who also happens to be a photographer, asked me if i would want to do a photo shoot with her. i had these giant balloons from my daughter's second birthday party {which i'll be sharing pictures of soon eeeep!} and we just couldn't pass up the opportunity to take some pics with them. i've never done anything like this before and it was crazy fun. so i thought i would share a couple of my favorites with you!

i heart the pumpkin patch

i said i was back and i'm already failing at this blogging thing again. i don't know how you bloggy mom's do it! i just can't seem time to juggle blog, baby, husband and the rest of this thing called life. the blog just seems to get pushed to the bottom constantly. so, sorry for that.

buuuuut....since i was last here a lot has happened! 

1 . pais turned two! i can't hardly believe this. i find myself in tears quite often thinking of her growing so fast. 

2 . my husband broke his foot! he's such a hardcore softball player. but don't worry we've been takin' real good care of him around here. 

3 . pais and i went to a pumpkin patch farm, whatever you call it!

it was really fun and i must say unless i am forgetting a good portion of my child hood {which is very possible} i don't think i've ever been before! {i'm sure my loving mom will correct me if i'm wrong.}

what a lovely day it was.

hello friends! 

it has been quite a while since i've been around these parts but it feels good to be back. fall is in full swing around here and we are coming up on our little birdies 2nd birthday. i just can't believe it! 2 already. ca-razy. 

here's a little update of what we've been doing the last month or so . . . 

wearing our hair in pony tails. yes!

learning how to read . . . 

and drive. still practicing that one. 

spending lots of time at the zoo. 

taking pais to the beach for the first time. she luuuurved it. 

attending my brothers wedding. what a lovely day it was. 

and last but not least, making lots and i mean lots of decorations for my baby girls 2nd birthday. 

it's been busy around here and taking some time off from this little bloggy has helped me realize where i want my priorities to be. i'll still be around but probably not as frequent as before. hopefully it will be enough to reconnect with all of you cause i miss all my bloggy friends!
