we love summer

paisley and i actually got to play outside for a little bit the other day! even though the grass is dead and sopping wet from the melting glaciers {some call it snow} in our back yard, we had a fun time. only now every time she passes the sliding glass door in the kitchen she smacks her hands on the glass and licks the window {i know gross right?} because she wants to return to the invigorating fresh air that we have been separated from for almost 5 months! 

while these photos above are precious, if i do say so myself, let's take a moment to just reminisce about what real fun in the sun is like. when the temperature is above 47 degrees and we can go outside without bulky annoying things called coats...

ahhh yes, yes we do love summer. and we are both dreaming of the vibrant, colorful and fresh days ahead. here is too a wonderful summer on the horizon with lots of running, playing and swimming in a pool we don't have. 

i hope wherever you are that your temps have begun to rise. knowing you are enjoying lovely weather makes me feel less distraught about the snow we are supposed to receive tomorrow.
